To Download Adobe Acrobat Reader

If not already installed on your computer, you can download the 5.2 MB file for Adobe Acrobat Reader free and install it by using the directions that follow. The download and installation process should require about 35 minutes with a 28.8 Kbps modem.

Open your web browser and go to the address: http://www.adobe.com/prodindex/acrobat/readstep.html

When the web page opens, scroll to the bottom of the page and follow the three steps to begin the download. When you've completed the requested responses, click on "Download" in step 3.

You will be transported to another web page and a "File Download" box will pop up. Respond to the question "What would you like to do with this file?" with either "Open (or Run from current location)" or "Save to disk". If you are a novice user, you may want to open (or run) the program so that Acrobat Reader is automatically installed on your computer. If you are a more experienced user, you may want to save the program to your hard disk and install it manually.
